ANNUAL KIDS DISCOVERY DAY
On Saturday, MAY 4th, The Pincher Creek & Disctrict Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Annual Kids Discovery Day. With this event, kids (grade 1 - grade 6) will get involved in the community through local business, organizations, and service. This event will give the kids the opportunity to look around in the "Adults work environment" and let them find out some cool things in adults every day jobs through hands-on activities.
To enable as many kids as possible to take part, there will be NO REGISTRATION FEE for them.
ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT
The Crowsnest Pass Symphony and Young Artists are having a Spring Concert Wednesday May 8th at 730pm at Horace Allen School. Admission is $10/Adults and FREE for children.
UROC Movie Night and Club Social
UROC (United Riders of Crowsnest) , the LOCAL bike club, is hositn a movie night and club social at the Orpheum Theatre in Blairmore, Thursday MAY 9th. The featured movie is Red Bull Media House's "Where The Trail Ends" a film following the worlds top freeride mountain bikers as they search for un-ridden terrain around the globe, resulting in a unforgettable adventrue. Admission is 5$ for adults, children 5 and under are FREE. Cole beverages will be avaliable. There will be door prizes, and memberships will also be avaliable for people interested.
FREINDS OF THE LIBRARY BOOK FAIR
(USED BOOK SALE)
The book sale will take place at the Ranchlands Mall, May 8th and 9th , 9am - 8pm and May 10th from 9am - 4pm. Donations of books can be brought to the mall as early as 5pm to 8pm on MAY 7TH!
HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR
CNP Adult Education association presents the Health and Wellness Fair
"Encouraging Healthy Lifestyle Choices" with guest speaker, Lana Asuchak on Saturday MAY 25th 9am - 230pm at the MDM Community Centre.
Cost is $20/person (includes lunch).

For the 2013/2014 school.
Registration starts NOW at Horace Allen School (2002 - 76th Street Coleman) for ALL CHILDREN who will be 5 years old by December 31st, 2013.
Please bring your childs Birth Certificate.
There will be an orientation night for all new kindergarten students on MAY 28th at 6pm at Horace Allen School

ELKFORD EVENTS
June 2 - Elkford Triathlon. - This event is a SPRINT DISTANCE TRIATHLON, including a 750m swim, 20km bike ride, and a 5k run. Participants can choose between 2 levels: Regular or the EXTREME SPRINT.
June 28th - July 1st - ELKFORD WILDCAT DAYS!!!! - A family Festival of games and activities that celebrates on the the first pioneers in the Elkford area, "Wildcat Charlie" Weigert. The 3-day celebrations boasts a parade, fireworks, a craft and trade fair, a scacenger hunt, sports tournements and LIVE entertainment.

PINCHER CREE HUMANE SOCIETY ~ If you have time to spare, stop on by the Humane Society and pick up and application form. A variety of tastes are open. Current foster homes are full and more animals need foster homes. The society tries NOT to turn away animals, but the shelter can only accommodate so many. If you would like to donate money, kennels, food, you time, or anything you wish, stop by the Humane Society on Kettle Street of call 403-627-5191
